Vegetable Stir Fry

Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon mirin
  • 3 cup spinach, fresh
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 5-6 spear asparagus
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 4 mushrooms
  • .5 tablespoon ginger, fresh
  • 1 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoon canola oil

Preparation

Stir Fry:
1. In a large saute pan or wok, heat oil over medium high heat for about a minute.
2. Add onion and mushrooms and saute for 3-4 minutes.
3. Add carrots and ginger and saute another 3-5 minutes.
4. Add broccoli and saute until it becomes bright green, about 3 minutes.
5. Add bell pepper and asparagus and saute until asparagus can be pierced easily with a fork, about 3 minutes.
6. Add garlic and cook 30-45 seconds.
7. Add spinach and sauce and heat until spinach begins to wilt, about 2-3 minutes.
8. Serve immediately by itself or over rice.

Stir Fry Sauce:

Mix mirin, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, brown sugar, sesame seeds in a small bowl. Set aside until ready to use.
