What was your very first cooking experience?: It’s really hard to pinpoint a first experience, but I have been in the kitchen since I was 4 and have always asked for kitchen gadgets for my birthday and Christmas presents!
Who taught you how to cook?: Mostly my mother, but I grew up in a family of international cooks. So I learned a little from everyone!
Why do you like to plan and make meals?: Simply put, it’s fun and my creativity gets to show in the kitchen.
What advice do you have for kids to learn to cook?: The most important thing for kids to learn before they start cooking is kitchen safety and cleanliness. Younger children should always have a grown-up present in the kitchen. Older kids should learn proper knife techniques. Keeping kids safe and keeping a kitchen clean is a priority before anyone starts cooking.
